The drumstick is an equivalent to a microphone.
One day, Asna pretended to sing under this spotlight my brother just got. She sang Bad Romance. I even recorded it, but unsure where to host it now (I wish I could give you guys a listen!). Anyway, she sang almost whole-heartedly. Then told me:
"Cikyong, when I grow bigger, I want to sing on a stage. Then, win a medal. JUST LIKE YOU"
She's referring to the karaoke competition I entered last year. She saw the video of me on stage and kept watching it repeatedly (whilst almost memorizing the Japanese song). I won a medal only for best dressed but I doubt the title mattered to her. The medal counts.
Altogether now, say "awwwwww" :)
Scene #2
Asna likes to make cards for people around this house, especially for my mom. She'd draw hearts on cards, sometimes color them and then write messages. The recent "card" my mom got was a series of heart-filled cards with "I LOVE YOU MAMA" written on every page. Recently, too, she gave out "HAPPY I LOVE YOU DAY" cards to my mom (I'm not sure if she was the one who came up with that). Today was my turn.
There were knocks on my door. Sounded like Asna.
I opened the door.
"Hello, Cikyong, I've got a card for you", she showed me the front page.
"Oh, thank you!", I said.
She then showed the back page.
"I wrote your name. Your favorite Disney princess is Cinderella", pointing to a sticker with my name on, determining that herself, as always (my favorite Disney princess is AURORA, the Sleeping Beauty and not Cinderella!).
I took a closer look.
Okay, I was touched, but how am I supposed to break it to her, that my name is spelled AMIRA, not "AIMrA"?
Not to mention, she took the easy way by writing my class as "her class" and my school as "her school".
LOL.
