Sabrina's engagement ceremony

CONGRATULATIONS to Raja Nadia Sabrina and Abdullah Khubayb- after being together since the eve of 2007 (Ruzana told me this), they are now engaged!

I had the honor of becoming the lady-in-waiting and carried a heavier-than-usual cake (and no, I did not trip). I, sadly, don't have any good pictures of the whole ceremony. The camera was with my mom while I was on duty. Anyway, these are what I've got :)

Sabrina texted everyone to wear either peach, lilac or baby blue. I found this combo odd until I saw her outfit. Our colors are actually a combination of hers! I arrived before 9AM, but heard the girls started getting ready as soon as 6.30AM. The makeup artist from Bobbi Brown arrived early in the morning to get Sabrina's face done. The end result? Gorgeous! Everybody else looked good, too.

There weren't much photos prior to the arrival of the men's side. We had limited time and everybody wanted to take pictures with her, so the task of capturing pictures was given to the photographers.

Sabrina and her siblings made the door gifts for the guests themselves. Everybody expected it to be chocolates inside the trapezium-shaped box- they were surprised to see water colors instead! The event was held at a gallery filled with paintings, so I think that's how the water colors came about. Sabrina also included a note for everyone.

After most people have gone back and while Sabrina was entertaining guests, I took my camera out and just captured random pictures of me and my cousins.

Posing for the official album. This picture may look normal, but they made us do weird things. Let's just wait for the release of the album.

So, that's about it. I was just told that the official pictures are only to be released by the photographers in three to six weeks. Is it usually that long? Well, anyway, again, I'd like to congratule my cousin and her fiance. I wish you guys the best of luck and happiness. See you at the altar... in a few months!
