We decided to sleep at Asuka Hotel anyway, despite it was already 2AM- we’re supposed to leave the hotel by 6AM. The other options were to hang out at Saizeriya until the next morning, but considering that the hotel will charge Reza for not checking in, we checked in anyway.
Our bags were in the lockers of the Shinjuku station, but we were thankful (I am, I know) that the guys were with us- we shopped a lot the night before and I can’t imagine carrying them all on our own.
We walked to the station and got our bags out and bought tickets to Narita via NEX (Narita Express). Narita Express is convenient when you’ve got lots of luggage, when you’re not willing to change lines or stop by each station that the train passes- Narita stops only at a few stations and is pretty fast.
After this photo a group of three nice policemen stopped by and asked for our passport and “interviewed” us. Sort of. HAHA! This happened before in Osaka last year. So take note, that when you’re in the airports, unless you want some attention from the police- do not act like a gaijin (foreigner). DON’T camwhore, DON’T look at maps, DON’T look cuak!
Found out later that flight’s delayed for an hour or two due to the bad weather. The airport gave us three ￥2000 coupons. YAY!
Then, they sent us to the departure gate and we said goodbye to the boys :'(
And that was it…
As I completed my final purchase, Aishah texted me and said that it’s already time. I bid Narita farewell. Got on the plane, made friends with a kid who gave me Ben 10 puzzles and drawings of hexagons and that was it.
さようなら！ Until we meet again, Narita 😉
p/s: THANK YOU REZA AND KUYU for making this trip very memorable and fun!!! ♥ ♥ ♥
