I just received an email from my mum. On Merdeka Day my family went to KLCC. I asked my mum to use my Topshop card so that I can get the 20% birthday voucher to use when I go home for the mid term break this month. She got stuff for my brother. It was his birthday the day before anyway.
Well, the kid was following my mum. She was probably bored at Isetan so she WALKED UP to the Anna Sui counter. Approached (???) and asked the makeup artist…
TO APPLY HER NAIL VARNISH!!! (?????)
The makeup artist was nice enough to let a small girl try the varnish on a single of her tiny fingers. And you thought a single finger was enough? No. She applied on another.
Asna said something, but the makeup artist didn’t hear her. So to make herself clear, she said, rather LOUDLY:
“ALL of my finger nails!”
I bet she was stunned, I really feel sorry for the girl. The makeup artist- not Asna!
I figured she must have begged my mum and my mum, probably embarrassed, bought the nail varnish, a peachy orange color (she refused pink, oddly) AND a nail polish remover (if not, how was she supposed to remove it, right?). They went home and my mum hid the stuff Asna wanted so badly.
Oh man, this is bad. I mean, at home nobody wears nail varnish, manicures only consisted of buffing and applying cuticle oils. I really don’t know where this was coming from. She actually knew the varnish was for nails! Not just the nail varnish, but ANNA SUI??!! At HER age??
Ekha I think you must’ve influenced her a bit HAHA, I only taught her to use highlighters and markers!
