Asna

Asna and her art classes

Asna has always been so attached to her doodle boards since young. Always drawing this and that. When one board is ruined, parents always gets her a new one. I think a doodle board is essential for any kid – it’s so easy to use, sparks creativity and you save trees!

Anyway, the first time I realized she actually drew something instead of some doodle-rubbish was when she was two.

“Cat”.

And then to a more complex one at three.

“Sunflowers”.

After that, more and more, on doodle and on paper But I wasn’t so bothered. Any kid likes to draw…

Anyway, she asked my mom to send her to an art class. We didn’t know there was any around our neighborhood until she pointed it to us. She had her first class last week and we were pretty impressed with the result!

“Fish”. She said her teacher taught her how to draw fish properly and how to use colors.

“Kampung”.

Her art teacher met my mom and told her he’s pretty impressed by her creativity. So I guess that’s good? While she’s on her art high, I thought I might as well start teaching her how to draw better. She’s a fast learner and I’m quite enjoying teaching a kid how to draw!
Trying to copy my “cat” and “sexy-faced girl”.

Anyhow, I look forward to what she’d learn in her later classes 🙂
