Asna

Skinny and fat

I was analyzing my hands one night, recently, with Asna beside me. She was sleeping over.

“I miss sushi. I am losing weight because I don’t eat a lot of sushi like I did in my Melbourne. See my hands, they’re skinny!”

I made the crying act. The one Asna does so well when she pretend she’s sad. Some sort of “boo hoo hoo”. So she asked:

“What’s skinny?”

“Skinny is too kurus. Like my hands. When I don’t eat a lot, I don’t have a lot of meat in my body until you can see bits of my bones. It’s not very pretty. See”

I moved my fingers so that she could see.

She moved her hands after that and touched it. Seeing that she’s got “meat” and could hardly see her bones, she asked me:

“So I’m fat?”

She was serious.

“No, you’re SLIM. Slim is just right and healthy. Fat is when you have too much meat in your body”

“Okay”

Silence.

She was thinking.

“So Mama and Babah are fat?”

“……………………………………..”

During dinner, she would a lot of times be “appointed” to call me to the dining table. The next night she said:

“CIKYONG come down and have dinner. If you don’t eat a lot you will become TOO skinny!!!”

@Ekha Come to BJ for more Asna goodness LOL.

    @IQWA Ye ye. I will!

@Sarah Doctors of Melbourne told me to. They say eat a lot of sushi and sashimi for the protein so I did. I became 46-47kg in Melbourne after eating 10 slices a day… I think it works!
