The little black dress

So I've been eyeing on a simple black pencil dress for sometime now. After the post on Zara's little black dresses, I went back to the store to try the pencil dress on, in the smallest size available. Still big for me. Not that I'm too small, I doubt it. Explaining why I couldn't really buy clothes there - I think their sizes run a little bit big (or maybe I've been shopping in stores where the sizes run small). Not feeling like altering anything, I went home empty-handed.

However, thank goodness for ASOS! A similar dress I was eyeing on at the end of last year made of wool - not friendly for Malaysian weather, is selling on the site again, but this time in polyester. It's also around $50 (and with free shipping - a steal?!), hence, I put it into the cart and checked out at an instant.

The quality of this piece is pretty okay considering the price. As suggested by comments from the previous post, the dress is office-friendly and KLCC-friendly, that it should be a staple in one's wardrobe. I have a feeling I'm going to wear this more than any other dresses I own.

  6. Mia, ASOS do ship to Malaysia? The last time I checked they have restrictions here and there? Please do teach me how to purchase over ASOS!

  7. They do now! I just realized that they've finally started shipping to Malaysia, too. Ok I'll teach how soon.

  8. Hi Mia, what size do your wear for ASOS? I'm the same size as you but i wear a UK4 for Topshop & Miss Selfridge

  9. Hi! I bought the dress in UK6. I think the size runs small. Even the jacket that I bought from Asos last year in UK6 wa sa bit more ketat than those from Topshop & Miss Selfridge.

  12. Hi! It took a few days, not even a week for me. It's okay I guess. Size runs about the same, though sometimes I think it runs smaller.

  13. Hi mia, regarding the Asos delivery, i’ve already waited my package for 2 weeks through the standard delivery. they keep telling me to wait for 10 working days but its ridiculous for my package to arrive a month late! since you’ve experienced numerous times purchasing from Asos, has this ever happen to you?
    thank you :)

  14. Hey! I hope I'm not replying this to late. It happened to me while shopping on Topshop dulu. If you used Paypal to pay, now's the time to make a claim. If they don't respond within a few days, escalate it.
