Celebs and their Stam bags.

I think that the Stam, by Marc Jacobs, is a beautiful bag, but there are certain things that still makes it less than the ideal bag for me. One, it’s too big. Two, the lamb leather is too smooth. Three, the hardware and chain are gold and too “clean”. I think I’d get tired of it too soon, hence, I never gave the regular stam a real thought.
That was until I saw the Mini Stam.
The Mini Stam.
Regular and Little Stam.
The Mini Stam made its debut last season. While the regular Stam is too big and the Little Stam is too small, I find the size of the Mini Stam just perfect for casual or evening wear. The Mini Stam comes in two types of design – the Classic and the Baroque. The former looks like a smaller version of the regular classic Stam, whereas the latter… it’s GORGEOUS.
Baroque Mini Stam.
Okay, so what makes it gorgeous? While we’re used to seeing smooth lambskin on the regular Stam, the Baroque Mini Stam is grainy — doesn’t reflect light so much, like it’s muted. It looks rich, IMO. And if anybody’s sick of quilted bags (like me), good news — this one is stitched. As for the hardware, instead of the classic, the zipper and chain of the Baroque Mini Stam is hammered, allowing it to look more vintage. I really think they look so much better relative to the classic. The length of the strap is also adjustable. To me, all this makes the perfect Stam.
Oh god so tempted to just get it now.
