Just for the record

Last Sunday
All of us watched Captain America. The night before, mom wanted to leave Asna behind at first but she insisted that she was going to watch. The next day she had fever and told us she wasn't going.

"I sakit kepala"

Monday
Asna was sent to the clinic and we found out she had measles, explaining why she was experiencing rashes on her whole body. She was given a 3-day medical leave. I asked her why she was not fasting - instead of saying that she's unwell, she told me:

"I sakit kepala, cannot fast"

Macam orang tua.

Tuesday
Ayaji found hair hidden near a furniture. Long strands, a chunk of it. Parents started asking Bibik and I whether it was ours. They asked Asna, whether she had cut my mom's hair, again, without her knowledge (she once cut my mom's hair with her toy scissors, while my mom was reading). She denied cutting anybody's hair. Comment:

"It's a ghost's hair"

Of course, I asked her whether she was fasting, again.

"Hey! why aren't you fasting?"

"I... I... I sakit kaki la!"

Wednesday
During sahur I was told that my mom and maid found out that it was Asna's hair. While Asna was playing the night before, they realized that at the center of her head, some of the hair was so short, they stood upright. Like, terpacak. Her defense:

"A ghost cut it"

-_- Her craft scissors were taken away from her. Would've been fun if a patch of hair was gone from her head HAHAHA. She still denies cutting her own hair until today, but we know that she's BS-ing because it's all over her face.

I think that was an accident and she's just too ashamed to admit.

Thursday
Asna went back to school. My mom and I received a parcel from our tailor in the north. It contained our baju raya. I was not really, fully involved in the process of buying or sending the textiles for tailoring, so on this day, I learned that my mom actually bought the same pattern for Asna and I -_-' Oh the horror. SO 90s.

By the way, she managed to fast until 6PM.


Friday
Asna slept over. She played Sara Bareilles' album (one of her favorite singers, she claims), loud in my room, lying at the center of the bed, holding the album and reading the list of tracks.

"If the music is loud, I will sleep happier"

By the fourth track, she was snoring. And kicking me off my bed.
