A peek at the R&R in Japan

We went to an R&R on the way back from the resort.

Unlike the R&Rs in Malaysia, the R&R I went to was spotless! Super squeaky clean, that I didn’t mind spending time in the restrooms.

Unlike the R&Rs in Malaysia, too, the R&R area was relatively small, there weren’t as many stalls for food, so choices of hot food are limited to a few. The food ordering system was different, too.

How it works at the R&Rs I came across with was (1) the customers see what they like from the many food replicas on display, (2) order and pay on vending machines to get a ticket (just like buying a can of drink from a machine), (3) wait for their number to be called up at the stall and (4) pick the order up on a tray. After eating, they’d need to place the tray at the designated areas for the staff to clean. Quite systematic, but I suppose you can expect that from the land of rising sun.

@Hannah Exactly my thoughts on Japan. It’s the place where I feel safest and there’s just so many things to discover! I could go there over and over again.

@Anonymous I did take a picture with the statute during my previous trip. Passed by it a couple of times last week. People queue just to take a picture with it 🙂
