The peplum skirt

Since I'm confident I won't be getting the peplum dress from Alice + Olivia (by the time they're available, the money will probably be used elsewhere), I got a great substitute instead at a great price. Where did I find one? I went back to ASOS!

They had a few peplum-related designs at the moment - from tops, dresses to skirts. The dresses look good from a distance, but they're either work inappropriate or after close inspection, leave a little to be desired judging from quality. I felt like they weren't sewn well enough, especially the hem of the skirt.

Hence, I settled with a basic peplum skirt from the ASOS collection. Quite pleased with the shift dress I got from the collection that I hope I'd love this skirt, too. At least I can mix and match this with several tops.

Been getting quite a number of emails from ladies asking me what they should do because their parcels were late and missing. Now I'm just crossing fingers that this will arrive safely.
