Things Asna says

I can't keep up with what Asna does like I used to, so I think it's a good idea to compile the darn things she has said for memory and entertainment's sake - I'll add them bit by bit in this post, with the most recent on top.

Picked her up from school. She told me to use "the long way" so we'd pass by her dream house. I did.

"There are so many nice houses! I don't know which one to buy. I can't choose! Cikyong, maybe you can buy a house here so we can be neighbors"

"I can't they're too expensive. Are you going to buy the house here when you're an adult?"

"No need. I have a lot of cents in my (coin) box"

"You mean?"

"I'm already rich"

Asna just got home from school.

"Have you washed you feet?"

"No. I don't want to. I like to be dirty so that people will bathe me"

Asna watching a K-Pop show filled with skinny boys with dyed hair, prancing around a colorfully-lit stage.

"This one is handsome. That one also handsome. All handsome"

Muka high. Imagine hopeless romantic clasping hands.

"Sigh. I want to marry them..."

Asna uses my parents' massage chair more often than they do now. She refused to budge from the chair one morning.

"Asna do you know that using this will make you grow older"

Silence. Confused face.

"You mean I'm now eight years old?"

She was watching a drama. Really into it.

"You watch this drama? What is it about?"

"It's called Lie to Me. That girl likes to lie. She lied to people and told them she is married to a boy... but she is not! After that the boyfriend went on a date with another girl"

Oh television.

Asna on work.

"When I grow up I want to work at your place so I can get a name necklace"

Referring to the access card I wear at work.

"But how can I work? I don't know how to work!"

More on the baby.

"Bibik, macam mana baby keluar?"

"Potong perutlah. Kamu ingat macam mana?"

Went up and googled for "baby born" images. She's that tech-savvy.

"Eee. Saya tak nak lah jadi perempuan, Bibik. Jadi perempuan susah lah"

Rubbing her tummy.

"Bibik, perut saya besar, saya rasa perut saya ada babylah"

"Macamana kamu boleh ada baby?"

"Saya baru kahwin dengan teddy bear Cikyong"

On what she would do to get her dream house.

"When I grow up I want to become a fashion designer and open a BOO-TEE-QUE and sell all my clothes at RM50 so that I can buy my dream house!"

Referring to the RM3.4million semi-D, located a few hundred meters away from our house. Good luck with that.
