We all know Asna’s the one who’s most excited for my wedding. Previously, she’d spent some time going through pages of wedding magazines, listing down what I’d need for my ceremonies. This other time, she gave me a pamphlet she got from Secret Recipe, pointing out a cake that she thought would go well with my reception.
Either the market is flooded with wedding magazines or I’d only noticed them now. My parents bought a couple more of those recently, just for us to get some ideas. The magazines were so inspirational, it got someone busy again.
My mum texted me while I was still in Japan, saying that Asna’s been designing a dress for my reception. Attached with it, the design of dresses for the bridesmaids and herself, the self-proclaimed flower girl.
“Cikyong, can I be the flower girl of your wedding?”
“How do you know if there’s a flower girl at my wedding?”
“Of course there will be! I read it from the magazine Pengantin!”
My mum shared the pictures on Whatsapp, but I’d gotten a hold of and scanned it since I’m back. Here’s the first page, showing the design for my reception dress:
