“Red.” 

“What was the name of your avatar?” 

“Amira.” 

“If you use that, people won’t think you’re from Japan. They’d think you’re from Malaysia.”

I was not getting her. Since Pokemon is a game from Japan, maybe she has this idea that we’re supposed to pretend being Japanese. But then again, her avatar’s name in the game is Amanda (in honor of my colleague whom she claimed saved her life, Amanda).

“But Amanda isn’t a Japanese name either?” 

“Oh. Hehehehe.”
