I’ve been busy trying to get things done for the wedding. When I do tick something off the list, I’d get this sense of accomplishment. This includes the time when I brought home yards of Italian pure silk (or so it claims) in a soft shade of green for the bridesmaids, late last week.
At first I didn’t think I would need bridesmaids. Both sides of the families have agreed that there won’t be any exchanging of trays during the akad nikah, except for the rings. Since I don’t need tray bearers, didn’t think I needed to have my unwed girlfriends to be dressed the same.
But then I figured, this may be my only chance at playing dictator and telling them what to wear on the day.
I kid, I kid.
The reason as to why I still wanted to have bridesmaids is, well, it’s going to be a day to remember! Hence, I would want those whose presence I cherish to be involved on the day (or the days leading to it). So, here’s my invitation:
I told her I’d slim her down with the help of Photoshop.
Apart from that, it’s cool that everyone’s willing to accommodate.
Hmm. I’m starting to get a little excited.
