The Milly paneled peplum top

Last weekend I got myself a Milly top. It’s the kind I like — contrastic boucle, mesh trim lace panels, raw edges and a bold grey zip. I’ve admired the top for a while now and figured it’s just meant to be, when I found out that it was heavily discounted (from $295 to $88 WTF!) — the last piece… in my size!

Got it at an instant.

Love all the details (except for the leather waistband… not sure if that’s my thing). It’s a piece that’s well made.

There was one problem, though, the top isn’t exactly true to size — it runs large! Despite it being size zero, it was still a little too big for me. Thought of doing an exchange, but it’s already in the smallest size and the last piece and considering the discount, returning is not an option since it’s a final sale lol. That said, I need to get this altered and I’ll be ready to wear it.

Can’t wait.

Don’t think I know any better either. The things I usually do are — to pick something I’d wear over and over again, to keep it in my wishlist for a week or more and to buy it when it’s the last piece in my size!
