Asna has a pink shirt that she got from her last trip to Labuan, a t-shirt that says “I Love Labuan”. She tells me that it’s the best t-shirt she has and makes a point to wear it at home, every Friday and Sunday.
On the weekend, she was wearing the shirt again. So I asked:
“What are you going to do when you can’t fit into the shirt anymore?”
Her answer was simple:
“I will go to Labuan again to buy a new one.”
After that, she willingly shared her future plans:
“If I have a boyfriend that time, I can go to Labuan with him and he can get an I Love Labuan t-shirt, too. He can have the one in black. We can wear it together.”
If you see a couple wearing “I Love Labuan” t-shirts while on a date in the (hopefully not so soon) future, you’d know who they are.
