Sometimes when Reza needs to go outstation, I’d tell Asna a sappy story about how lonely I’ll be, because I know that she’d always feel sorry for me and would accompany me for the night. She’d drag all of her stuff (her blankies, stuffed “pets” and other items she thinks necessary) to my room for a sleepover and we’ll hang until past midnight.
Before I left for a trip earlier this week, Reza told Asna that he’ll be lonely while I’m away.
(All of us like to act like we’re hopeless with her lol.)
If it were me saying that, it’d be Asna’s cue to offer to accompany me at night. But since it’s Reza, she apologetically said:
“I can’t sleep with my brother-in-law.”
Reza totally went WTF, not knowing what she meant until I explained it to him later.
Before she went upstairs, I heard her tell him:
“… but I can lend you my dolls.”
Well, apparently she did. I came home to see these on my side of the bed.
