In Dubai, I stayed at Manzil Downtown, a mid-rise high end boutique hotel with an Arabesque design that’s strategically located at Downtown Dubai. The hotel has good reviews on TripAdvisor, but the thing that made me look forward to this stay the most was the positive opinion that Lisa (the friend who has been staying in Dubai for the past decade) has on this hotel.
I love downtown Dubai. It’s where it’s at! Apart from the gorgeous boulevards and low-rise Arab-style buildings, the Dubai Mall (the largest shopping mall in the world) and the Burj Al-Khalifa (the tallest building in the world) are located there.
Manzil Downtown Dubai has amazing rooms. The thing that I noticed first was the room’s contemporary look. I love its features too — from the big bed and pillows to the lounge chair and to the choices of complimentary drinks. The bathroom was semi-open with its glass walls and I particularly love it big tub. Despite having a long day, I always felt refreshed after soaking in the tub and having a good night’s sleep.
Service here is grand. The hotel staff was always courteous and smiling.
They’re also generous. When I first arrived, I was offered some exotic tea while waiting for check-in. The subsequent days after my arrival, I came back to my room to see that they’ve left me strawberries dipped in chocolate on a desert plate, milk chocolates, flask and other complimentary items. I was surprised everyday!
The breakfast! I’ve never been so rambang mata at a breakfast buffet! They had plenty of salads, lean meats and smoked fish, cheese, nuts (macadamia, walnut, hazelnut, you name it!), breads, cereal, yogurt, fruits and fresh juices and milk (date milk is the bomb). To add to that, I got the chance to order something ala carte everyday. I’ve had pancakes with berries one day, eggs benedict the other, prepared in the open kitchen by the chefs. If you’re the type who enjoys eating clean and wholesome food, come stay here!
My experience was completely positive during my stay here. Loved the room, loved the service. Would I recommend Manzil Downtown Dubai? Yes! Check out Manzil Downtown Dubai.
