I made my specialty dessert, caramel pudding (in fact that's the only pudding I make because I personally enjoy it so much), while friends prepared bubur lambuk and kuih gula melaka in the morning.

There were more choices of food compared to last week's- it's just like

Speaking of the weather

One of the things I think I have taken for granted, living in Malaysia, was its weather. I didn't have to think about dressing to suit the weather, only how I wanted to look and where I was going.

Well, those who know Melbourne may know that the weather can be a bit whack. I only acknowledged when once, within an hour, the weather was pretty sunny, the next, extremely windy, sunny again

Dan sebenarnya

This was recorded during a rehearsal with Kompang Melayu Victoria. We were on a break between songs and just chilling with the guitar and percussions when I thought of recording a song. A few guys decided on Dan Sebenarnya by Yuna, so I immediately googled the lyrics and here's the result.

I only sang. The boys played with the musical instruments. Today I went to Victoria Market to go to a shop that I visited last year, Madame Pompadour. It's filled with girlish and Parisian inspired cardigans and home decorative items. I remember going there last year and wanting to buy a cake stand, which can also be used as a headband or jewelry holder, BUT the only problem was that I was returning to Malaysia that evening and there wasn't time to

Latest call with Asna

My mom tells me that Asna still isn't over her Facebook phase. She talks about it EVERY day and gets asthma attacks whenever she can't play. To that extent! Anyway, today's call is a really short one. It's hard to get her to talk because she'd rather play (especially with the computer).

Here's the conversation, listen first before scrolling down:
